The original bath in this 1950's Georgetown, Washington, DC split-level home was quite small. Thus, the goal of this remodel was to simultaneously expand and modernize the space. In order to create more room, we extended the original master bath into 2 nearby closets – one which served the master bedroom and one the hallway. Pushing the bath 9 inches into the master bedroom allowed us to install a separate shower and soaking tub. Finally, by installing a variety of modern tiles, brand new custom cabinetry, and unique, convenient fixtures, we were able to fulfill the client's wish-list.
